Viral Genetics is pioneering the development of immune-based therapies for the treatment of HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases. We are committed to developing treatments to save lives and improve the quality of life for people suffering from these diseases worldwide.
Today, our development efforts are centered on developing a treatment for HIV/AIDS based on our patented Thymus Nuclear Protein technology. Our first candidate is VGV-1. Through five human trials outside the USA, promising data suggest our technology may have additional uses beyond HIV/AIDS. We believe that we may be able to optimize our VGV-1 investigational drug as a result of our research and the recently licensed technology. In essence, optimization means adjusting the dosing amounts, timing and frequency in an effort to achieve a better, stronger result in more patients.
