We are committed to pursuing the development of TNP for a wide spectrum of diseases, and are currently focused on demonstrating the potential of VGV-1 for the treatment of HIV infection. As an Immune-Based Therapy, VGV-1 offers significant advantages over the currently approved therapies.

It has shown no debilitating side effects, the dosing regimen is simple and controlled by medical personnel and it is a relatively short course of treatment. Preliminary indications from the Phase III trial are that it worked best in those patients who were approaching the CD-4 count at which drugs are currently recommended.

We believe that treatment with VGV-1 may offer a viable option for patients desiring or needing to postpone drug therapies whether they are already on ARTs and are considering a “drug holiday” or are considering starting ART treatment.

We are determined to pursue approval of an novel treatment for HIV that we believe will offer a choice that is safe, effective and affordable.
