Viral Genetics to Present at EdgeWater Investment Conference

Viral Genetics, Inc. (OTCBB: VRAL) will be a presenter at the EdgeWater Research Partners Fall 2006 Micro and Small Cap Investment Conference Thursday, September 28, in San Diego.

Viral Genetics is currently developing VGV-1, a thymus nuclear protein therapy for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. In a recent Phase III trial in South Africa, statistically significant reductions in viral load were seen in 22% of patients that were equivalent to a 70% decrease in the amount of virus in the blood at day 150 (approximately three months after treatment).

The conference is hosted by EdgeWater Research Partners LLC, an independent equity research firm specializing in micro and small cap companies.
