Azusa, California; September 26, 2006 Viral Genetics is currently developing VGV-1, a thymus nuclear protein therapy for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. In a recent Phase III trial in South Africa, statistically significant reductions in viral load were seen in 22% of patients that were equivalent to a 70% decrease in the amount of virus in the blood at day 150 (approximately three months after treatment). The conference is hosted by EdgeWater Research Partners LLC, an independent equity research firm specializing in micro and small cap companies.
