On the forefront in the battle against HIV/AIDS:

We are committed to pursuing the development of TNP for a wide spectrum of diseases, and are currently focused on demonstrating the potential of VGV-1 for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. Preliminary indications from our South African Phase III trial indicate that it worked best in patients with low CD-4 counts. Technology we recently acquired from our recent University of Colorado license may allow us to accelerate the optimization of VGV-1 for our next clinical trials.

On the forefront of immune-based therapy discovery and development:

Our focus on our TNP technology is promising, not only in the realm of treating HIV infection and AIDS, but in the possible use for other illnesses. Immunology is a relatively young and exciting field that is on the cusp of fundamentally new understandings of disease treatment. We aim to be a part of that effort.

Future Applications:

During and after our human clinical trials, we observed that some test subjects suffering from other clinical conditions and diseases, such as oral and genital herpes, Hepatitis C infection, rheumatoid arthritis, and others, reported anecdotal improvements in the symptoms of these other illnesses. As part of our future development of immune-based therapies, we intend to explore options associated with these areas.
